Broadway musicals, everyone knows, are about cats on roller skates, cowboys singing about a surrey with a fringe on top, and Julie Andrews dancing about as Mary Poppins. But Jim Olm, a music professor at Casper College, has written a musical based on the Gnostic Gospels, the ancient books left out of the Bible, and a very different portrayal of Mary Magdalene, and her relationship with Jesus.
