An Engelmann Spruce from the Bridger-Teton National Forest in Wyoming got the nod in 2010 to serve as the Capitol Christmas Tree in Washington, D.C. Producer Kyle Nicholoff documented its journey across the country, culminating in a ceremonial lighting on the lawn of the Capitol, bedecked in ornaments made in Wyoming classrooms.
