Ian Lee, a Lander, Wyoming native, is filing television and print reports for CNN from Cairo and other areas in the Middle East. Lee, who speaks Arabic, talks to Chronicle's Geoff O'Gara about his journey from Wyoming to Egypt. He discusses the Arab Spring, and the chances for democracy in the Arab world, and the way in which new media play a significant role in the rapidly changing Middle East.
